I’ve added onto my shop 3 times now, and built 2 more large covered carports, just to keep everything out of the weather.
We'll have to change your handle to Tooljunkie 2!Now I just have to find room for all this stuff.

Just in case you were referring to me, Dusty.
Over the years, I've gotten some amazing deals on stuff off Craigslist, and this is one of them. Complete with magnetic motor starter, ready to run, just changed the oil in the compressor head. $300.

And speaking of Craigslist...
I picked up this Ingersoll-Rand 80 gallon 175PSI 220V 5HP compressor AND it's Porter-Cable twin for free! I figured the worst that could happen is that I'd wind up with a couple of 80 gallon tanks for extra storage.
When I moved the Quincy from the garage to the shop, I immediately missed having air available at the garage for tires and such, so I jumped on the pair.
Turned out the P-C was junk - compressor broke the connecting rod on the low side and the motor wouldn't start. (I kept it, think it just needs a start cap). Wound up selling the tank for $100.
That covered most of the cost of a new pressure switch and a magnetic starter for the I-R. Changed the oil in the compressor head and put a new start cap on the motor and it sits where the Quincy used to be in the garage. I think I'm into it for about $50 plus gas.

I have been needing/wanting a cutter dip setup for years. (ever since I lost access to the one in my shop at work when I retired)
My recent score of hundreds of cutters, saws, drills, reamers, c'sinks, etc motivated me to start looking.
Found this DipSeal pot on eboy for considerably less than half new price, so I bought it and 10lbs of DipSeal tool dip. This is not to be confused with that stuff you dip tool handles in; this is a readily peelable protectant sleeve for cutters, and has an oily component that prevents rust. After peeling it off, you can just throw it back in the pot & remelt it.
Dipped about 150 cutters today, several hundred more to go.

You get a pretty good burn. 350-400F.
It melts at 350, but to keep the whole pot liquid, you need closer to 375-400, especially if you are dipping lots of cold cutters.

That might be one of the best DIY uses for a 3D printer I have seen. How long and how much to print that tray?

It took several hours, I don't remember exactly how long, and it took, and used about 1 pound of filament. My 3D printer isn't very fast though, as I have it slowed down so the print quality is better.That might be one of the best DIY uses for a 3D printer I have seen. I have three more trays I printed that fit in the drawer, one for dies and another for tap handles, tap sockets, thread pitch gauge and one for other miscellaneous items. I also made a small case for a set of spiral flute taps .
The last picture is my drill drawer that is next in line for a reorganization, a 50 year collection of drills.

You may be able to 'borrow' one. My local public library has a couple. And the state university has some available, although they normally want you to drop off your file and pick up the output. It can be addictive and time consuming.
I've mainly done knobs, but this was my test object.
I've dreamed about making organizers
That looks great - given the pace I am likely to learn the how to use the thing I better plan on buying one if I do go that route. I often build bit holders and the like out of wood because that's what I am comfortable with.
