Alternator wire connector

I’m working on a 2007 Rtv1100 that somebody cut the wire connector off the wire harness that plugged into the alternator. The wire in the harness are white, yellow and red. The pig tail on the alternator are black green and red. Can someone tell me which wires connects between the two points?

Honestly, you need to see the wiring diagram of your RTV AND the alternator.

pure guess..... RED to RED (assuming they're both 'big' wires...
others are a mystery..
One set could be a 'sense' wire, the other maybe a 'tach' wire ??
None should be ground.

ok picture magically appeared...
have NO idea what the lil reds are for...
BIG red, cut off looks like original power from alt to battery..
cut blu/yel should be connected .....

with that many wires on alt, it probably has an external regulator....
with sense---> reg
field control<----reg
tach signal---> tach on dash

Yes, they cut the blue /yellow , that one is easy. Goes to a sensor on the block. The huge red will need to be replaced or extended as it will not reach the alt. I found this pic on the web for the pig tail, just have no idea which wire from the harness connect

Tab up left to right Y W R
So on your plug:
Yellow to Black
White to Green
Red to Red
