Shop manual for a LX2963

Anybody know where I can get a shop manual for a lx2963 snowblower on my lx2610hsdc, I’m happy to purchase it. The input shaft broke inside the front gearbox, and no the kubota shear pins did not break, the shaft broke where it steps down inside the gearbox, and I need to know how it comes out, the new shaft is coming tomorrow. Thank you in advance for any help provided. Brian.

Theres going to be a c-clip at the end of the shaft, inside the gear box.

#020 is the clip zfish is referring to, I believe.

is correct, you'll need to remove that snap ring to remove the shaft.

This is the reduction unit, my problem is forward of this.the shaft that powers the fan and auger unit and mine is the CK067

I would say remove the three (#100) screws, the end plate, then the whole works should slid out.

I thought this is what you were referring to. Take out #100 screws and start from there. Theres 4 key ways. One on the smaller shaft and 3 on the bigger. they play a big roll of holding everything in place.

Really wasn’t that hard to replace but had to disassemble both gear boxes as the gear inside the reduction box was all but rusted to the shaft and keys. But good thing I had ultra gray RTV as that is what seals both. I removed the whole auger assembly as that came right off then piece by piece worked my way back. Needed two qts of 80w90 gear oil dealer was as good a price as parts store, And yes must be happening a lot as the dealer had one in stock….. but no monetary help from Kubota dealer.

Mine was rusted in had to disassemble the reduction box to drive gear off shaft. But shaft goes backwards out of the front box after the keys are removed.
