We expect a 30 degree rise and then dip in temps this weekend.
My mom used to say that these crazy temperature swings were mother nature's way of killing off the old people.

Not when it's this cold. 🥶 It dropped down to -30F and got up to a balmy -10F by around 1pm but didn't stay there for long! The scenery is beautiful but potentially lethal. I have to watch my Heeler closely in this weather. She runs off into the snow and her feet get so cold that I have to be prepared to grab her and carry her back to the house.

It's not too bad, but I'd like some of the recent global warming to happen during the hottest days of summer. :D

Please be politically correct, it is no longer global warming it is now called climate change. Climate change is where it gets colder where it is normally cold, and warmer where it normally is warm, or something like that or vice versa.

45° when I left work. Got just north of little Rock, thermometer was showing 43°. Checked mirrors, looked at thermometer again and it dropped to 32° 🥶🥶 There was definitely a line I crossed 🧐🧐🧐 Changed from rain to snow about 5 miles up the road. Mirrors iced up shortly afterwards and had to kick on the heated mirrors.

It was snowing pretty decent when I walked gypsy when I got home about 2:30. Took her out for her pre-dinner walk around 4:45. Sidewalks driveway and streets were iced up with about 1" of snow on the lawn.

Gonna have to dig out my ice cleats before I walk gypsy later before bed.

Winds blowing like the dickens. Had to put my shoulder into the door to close it after taking out the trash.

Changed my mind on what to make for dinner. Instead of meatloaf, I opted for a pot of chili. 😊😊😊😊

It's 14 deg at 5:58 pm here in East Tx and supposed to get down to 9. It even snowed a bit. I hate it.
On the bright side I'm sitting here eating my Wife's chocolate chip cookies & followed by Chex mix.

I know I’ll get no sympathy here from you folks who live up “Nawth”…. but 17-degrees here in the Hill Country of Texas is a rare event. Brrr…. (got a warm fire in the fireplace tho’ and a glass of Bourbon to soothe me over it.)

It was -26°F (actual temp) the other morning that I needed to blow snow. I waited a day and it had warmed up to -16°F. A noticeable difference!! Put the winterfront covers on the B2650 and had the accumulated snowfall cleared in a few hours with no issues. And toasty warm in the cab, too. Nice not to have to wear longjohns and jacket while moving snow in sub zero temps.

It was -30 last night, but it will be a balmy -14 tonight. The high Sunday is supposed to be high 40s though. A little bit strange. Hopefully, the chickens will survive tonight, too.

Yep, right here with ya (Deep East Texas) supposed to be 9-10° F by morning. Wife brought home some cookie mix and fixings for a big batch of Chili, but it will tomorrow before I get any of that.

NO...not happy with the weather change.
