Hi Guys,
I got an L3400 with 175L-24 rear wheels that are fluid filled. The valve stem on the right rear is missing the center core pin. I would like to replace the valve stem but not sure which approach to take. Attached is a pic of the stem. From what I have read so far, some might say this is a two part stem with a piece that can be screwed out from the outside. To me it looks like one piece. What do you guys think?
Could I use these parts?
Or should I push the old stem in and use a valve stem replacement?
Although I'm not sure of the hole size in the rim.
Another question; Is there any problem with leaving the old stem inside the tire?
Thanks,
bob
