Kubota 3130 Hydrostatic/hydraulics?

Helping a friend, we have the manual. It indicates draining the trans and draining the hydraulics. Then filling both from the same place behind the operators seat on the 3 point hitch. Does the trans and hydraulics use the same
oil?

Yes. One common reservoir. Fluid change involves draining/filling the reservoir and replacing filters. Kubota brand fluid (SUDT 2) highly recommended, although pricey. Some folks like other top quality fluids. Stay away from bargain hyd. fluid.

if gst transmission super udt2 is the only fluid that can be used. Use of anything else doesn't do it any good.
