Who has removed the idiot bars from their Kubota snowblower chute? Mine got so severely clogged this morning I swear I’m going to yank that thing…
I removed the grill/guard last winter from the SB1574 that I have. Pain in the butt for sure, particularly for wet, heavy snow. Last year the chute plugged up a few times and I'd had enough so out it came!Who has removed the idiot bars from their Kubota snowblower chute? I didn't notice any significant change after removing the grill, other than a reduction in clogging.Well, my idiot bars are history…hanging on the garage wall. Anxious to see how it throws snow without them! Gonna get some PAM too!
Here's mine, and for your viewing pleasure packed full of snow last year. That's one jammed up poop shoot! How about a pic of these idiot bars?
I've never heard the term, and google was no help.
Thanks.
Here are the ones from my original post.there are 4 bars bolted to the chute and they have a bend inward at the top which made it hard to get any clearing tool or hand down the chute. How about a pic of these idiot bars?

We need to sign a petition to get manufacturers to remove augers and PTO shafts to improve product safety. Should probably remove the reverse gear as well. And steering controls. Here's mine, and for your viewing pleasure packed full of snow last year. That's one jammed up poop shoot!
