Time for an aftermarket valve.I belive my detent is bad on the control body for the bucket lifting...
Kubota says the detent kit and the entire control valve are discontinued with no part super session...
Help?
Thanks.
You will run into the same scenario with Deere, Ford, or any other manufacturer.Wow, I couldn't get a swing cylinder for my Kubota backhoe...Had one made. Never had problems like that with Deere or Ford?
The parts manaul shows two different handle options for the loader valve. One is cable operated with remote joystick and the other has the joystick handle on the valve itself. Which do you have?Sooooo
I can't be the only one this had happened to.
Anybody have any recommendations on aftermarket direct swap?
The bucket does not lift.Wait, is the only thing wrong with that, that it doesn't stay in float? The ball disintegrated?
Honestly, if that were mine id just clean that up, find a new steel ball and a spring (if the spring isn't still there..), and put it back together. It doesn't look that bad to me..

Its not worth fighting with. Put a new valve on it.The bucket does not lift.
First the float stopped working. Then the bucket raise got suuuper slow so then nothing at all. I then switched the hydraulic lines to proof out the cylinders and it lifts fine now... The spool does not go all the way down...
This would be nice.... This is not that easy though, so any suggestions on direct swap valves..?Its not worth fighting with. Put a new valve on it.

Based onthe component breeakdown it looks like the OEM valve had a fourth float position on the boom and a fourth regen position on teh bucket. Do you want to preserve the regen function or can you live without it?October 31, 2022

This is very easy - just answer the regen question and I will point you to suitable candidates. This would be nice.... This is not that easy though, so any suggestions on direct swap valves..?

Correct. As I removed the detent cap, the spool/cylinder had full travel within the manifold/block. So my binding is on the cap, and even after I cleaned it.If those videos were taken before you took the float assembly thing off the end of the valve, the most likely thing is just that chunks made their way behind the detent rod and were keeping it from moving fully to the raise position. Try to lift the loader with that cap thing removed from the valve assembly. If that doesn't change it then yeah, i am ok with TOH's 'not worth the fight' assessment in your situation.
