Bearings went bad and stopped turning. Already purchased a new one. Forgot to check how electrical connections were before removing. Don't know how to reconnect. Thanks

two wires only? IF so - it will NOT matter - that puts out AC , have a picture by chance of new?

Thanks. I got it going last night. There were only two wires and I didn’t see any positive or negative so I just tried it and it was good. Thanks anyway!

A quick note for you Jeff Doc. You can buy the bearings separately and replace them. Doing so will allow you to have a spare dynamo sitting on the shelf, ready to go should you need it.

I'm curious to know how many hours were on yours when it quit? I ask because the same thing happened on my B2410 (the tractor in my avatar) at a little over 2500 hours. Cost me a new fan belt, too, but I suspect the dynamo failure was just a really good reminder that I likely should have changed the fan belt earlier.

I agree with Jacket above. Fix the old too.

I had the exact same problem with my dyno on my B7100 - loosy goosy, never locked up BUT there were no bearings left to talk about. But for under $10, two bearings fixed it right up

My 7500 has around 1520 hrs on it. Had it almost 21 years This was the first thing under the hood that I've ever had problems with. That was also my original fan belt. Still has original mower belt also. I do need some new front tires, but was told the don't make that size anymore and other options would cause drivetrain problems in 4wd. Any help on that one? Thanks!

What size tires are you running now, and which tread type?

1500 hours and 21 years before your first under-hood repair. And to think folks wonder why we spend the big money on Kubota rather than buying Chinese or Indian tractors?

I put new front turf tires on my B7500 a couple of years ago. I had no problem finding them. Ordered from Amazon if I remember correctly.
