Recently picked up a basket case 7100 with a lot of missing parts. Can anyone point me to an online salvage or member here I could do business with?

Items needed include a hood, side panels, steering wheel and column and so on, thank you!

Hi Saturn V, I didn’t realize you wanted to fix this up. These are great rigs, but you will need lots of parts. If you can bide your time there are b7100 mowers up for sale without the front end loader (FEL) and you already have that unicorn!

Just fyi as far as 7100 vs 6100 the steering column, engine firewall, throttle linkages, and possibly the hood itself are slightly different. The 7100 has the dash, firewall, and top of hood located slightly higher up (i assume for legroom/ergonomics) vs the 6100 so for example if you put a 6100 column on a 7100, or a 7100 firewall on a 6100, the hood wont close all the way etc.

Glad you found a 7100 to buy parts from. I found out the 6100/7100 differences 'the hard way' but i had two complete tractors side by side so it did not make me regret any purchases, i just swapped a lot more parts than i had planned to..

Also make sure the bolts on your 3pt rockshaft arms are tight. That's the ONLY thing that's broken on any of my b6100/b7100s so far, is a rockshaft arm after the bolt came loose. I dropped a Box blade like dropping anchor at FULL speed in 3/hi when that rockshaft arm let go.. that woke me up!
