Now that we have completed our move and I have my shop mostly organized I am able to start on installing the aux hydraulics. I am installing a third function for a grapple and a valve for top & tilt and one rear remote.
The third function kit if from Summit and it is for the B2601. I took a chance it would fit when I ordered it. The valve mount and the remote bracket fit perfectly on the 435 loader.
The loader valve is the same between the B2401 & B2601 so the supply line and fitting from the PB port will fit if just plumbing for the third function. The tank port on the case is different. The B2601 tank port is on top of the case whereas it is on the side on the B2401. The banjo bolts also have different part numbers so it is unlikely the fittings supplied will work. I have not removed anything yet to verify but I did order a replacement banjo bolt to measure. I am hoping if the fitting I have don't fit at least the thread on the case is a standard SAE.
For the top & tilt and rear remote I will be using a 3 spool valve mounted on the ROPS. This is the current mounting position. In this position the lavers are in a comfortable place and do not interfere with the 3-point lift lever.
Before I commit to this I have ordered some fitting to verify I can make the hose connections work. I think it will be okay.
I had originally envisioned using the rear remote port for the rear valve but as of now there is no factory adapter available. I have considered making one but the area is cramped. Here is the rear port location (outlined area). The arrow is pointing to the tank return port on the case.
Right now the plan is to run the PB port on the loader valve to the rear spool valve and then use the PB port on the spool valve to the third function valve. The only uncertainty now is plumbing the tank lanes from both valves back to the tank port on the case.
