The Strategic Reserve link is pretty clear that it’s main purpose was to prevent disruptions of CIVILIAN/ECONOMICS. Its’ SECONDARY purpose is Nat’l Emergency/Military.

POTUS is held accountable for the ”Economy” far beyond what is actual and probable, so POTUS will react to public pressure …EXACTLY AS EXPECTED and As Charged by that public.

The “economy” we now have did not start in 2020. It started in 2018-2019 when the pandemic began large influences on the workplaces which have resulted in shortages. Supply and Demand are still the Ecomomic Drivers and presently the administration is reacting to public pressure.

Meanwhile, in this thread I’m reading the posts of Chicken Little relatives who are witnessing a public with Huge Buying Power (money) created Huge Demand…. for reduced Supply…. keeping Inflation at near 7%. The U.S. relies more and more on foreign-produced-goods which require Transportation which requires Fuel which we have Plenty of Reserve… but which reserves suffer this year JUST LIKE ALL YEARS PREVIOUS …. seasonal cycles as refiners convert from Spring/Summer gasoline to Fall/Winter heating products. Nothing New.

But Chicken Little’s relatives are trying to start a “shortage/panic club” when the problem is the 53% increased Profits by Big Oil simply “because they can”…and POTUS has recently made public statements critical of Big Corporations who are keeping prices artificially high when Supply issues are relieved and Inventories are actually Good….so they can buy-back their own Stocks and pay themselves Dividends…instead of reducing prices …because (as previously mentioned)…. because CONSUMERS have Huge Buying Power (money) and are buying-up anything-and-everything as fast as possible because they perceive the “SKY IS FALLING” (despite the fact a tax-break was offered energy companies to convert Chicken Little’s nephew to N.G. on the cheap, and “free” (to Him….)

Folks, we can’t have it Both Ways. We can’t have politicians who we claim we want to represent us and keep our economy healthy…..and at the same time complain they’re taking actions to do just-that), and us complain about it.

We also need to be smarter about who and why we vote for them….

If you want to go back to the times of Theocracy with Dark-Ages Repression …then keep voting for politicians that push those agendas using conspiracy theories and spread untruths.

If a post is deleted, then the posts below it all get renumbered. I know this to be a true fact. I run a forum that uses this very same software.
I don't remember the exact words that GeoHorn used, but it was something concerning the mentality of the people that had responded to the post. That and all the other posts after that up till mine were deleted. I don't know if they were soft-deleted, or permanently deleted. Soft deletes can be reversed, permanent ones are permanently deleted.
I also remember some posts pointing out who and what causes inflation using youtube videos. Am I thinking about another thread? I don't think so, but I might be wrong. I have had Covid for the last week, and a lot of the time I am tired and don't remember things as clearly as I would like. I am now on the downhill side of Covid and starting to feel a lot better.
