(I have kept up with this thread and have not seen any posts suddenly “missing” which pertain to the topic instead of blatant political propaganda.)
The posts that were removed started with the one where you made a comment about the intelligence of some of the people that had responded, and the firestorm that ensued from there along with some other good posts responding to your comment. I don't remember the exact phrasing that you used, so I have used the word "intellignce" as a substitute word.

The only posts I’ve made in this thread are still extant and the one in which I used the word intelligence is also…. post number 4.

posts are numbered 1...42, none missing unless the program renumbers them . that'd be bad. If say #8 was gone ,then the original #9 is now #8...etc., , and if I say see #10..it's really #9 now....

Doubtless, any re-numbering system will have been instituted by the current admin, as is the drought and the lack of barge traffic on the Mississippi R. …which will ruin the economy to the tune of $20-Billion THIS year. It’s all B’s fault.
Here’s the Mississippi near Greenville MO. No barge traffic possible…. guess 3 weeks of tow-boat diesel isn’t enough tho’……

What does this post have to do with the original topic in the thread? Can you explain?

It addresses the claimed “diesel shortage”. A “shortage’ only exists when there’s a “Demand”. Ain’t no Tow-boats using diesel on the major American waterway these days or for the near future either. And there ain‘t no shortage of Diesel.

Actually, wouldn't that confirm that we could be facing a diesel shortage? Barges can move a lot more product than a train or truck. So, it will take more trains/trucks to move the same amount a barge moves and thus use more diesel, which could lead to a greater shortage.

Or is my logic wrong?

I've never seen a diesel fuel or gasoline barge. Have you?

Yes, but they were transporting the fuel. (Our company had several projects at P66 refinery at their loading docks on the river.)

So, the correct statement would be TUGBOAT.

Just like everyone else...The POTUS has to EARN respect, by his actions, deeds and philosphies.
No one should blindly respect another, soley based upon their position in life.

You don’t have to agree or support someone politically to respect the office and the person serving in it. It’s what we do to support our constitution, country, and our form of government.

Nice for you to say that, but we don't have short term memory loss about what's been happening for the past few years, and how the last President was treated even while running for President and even now after serving.

Like stealing Top Secret docs? Like encouraging the attempted murder of the Vice President?
Like attempting a coup? LIke sucking up to Putin? Like denouncing NATO?

If a post is deleted, then the posts below it all get renumbered. I know this to be a true fact. I run a forum that uses this very same software.
I don't remember the exact words that GeoHorn used, but it was something concerning the mentality of the people that had responded to the post. That and all the other posts after that up till mine were deleted. I don't know if they were soft-deleted, or permanently deleted. Soft deletes can be reversed, permanent ones are permanently deleted.
I also remember some posts pointing out who and what causes inflation using youtube videos. Am I thinking about another thread? I don't think so, but I might be wrong. I have had Covid for the last week, and a lot of the time I am tired and don't remember things as clearly as I would like. I am now on the downhill side of Covid and starting to feel a lot better.

Respect for the Office AND the Person holding the Office is due…because he was selected by the Vote Of The People. Subsequent opinion of his performance is a different matter.
His performance may be properly cirticized…. but his person should still receive respect unless his personal behavior demands otherwise.
Example: Clinton lost my respect for him personally when he shook his finger at me on camera and Lied to me. But I still respected the office he held as President and was glad to seem him go.

We've got it. You believe everything you were told by your media choices which is reasonable, but none of it was actually true.

It's ok though. Enough people are awake now to make the change.
