B21 Swivel Seat turn Plate - Fixed!

My neighbor helped me drill & weld on a new much stronger swivel plate. Not pretty but works well and will outlast the original mechanism.

I searched first and nothing that I found answered my question.

I have a B21 and it is a great little tractor. The "turn plate" that attaches the seat to the seat base and allows it to swivel broke. I did find that I can get just the plate for over $500 from Messicks. That seems a crazy price. Has anyone tried to repair one of these or know of a lower cost source? I didn't know how to attach the diagram other than attaching the pdf sorry.

I googled tractor swivel seat and I see Northern tool offers the plate apparatus you are seeking for $82. There are lots of swivel seats available at various price points. Good luck

That Northern Tool seat swivel plate looks like it would be the perfect solution for the OP.
