Overheated

Kubota l3600 overheated, coolant leak, while chipping brush. Tractor stalled as I was turning the key off. Refilled coolant. Now turns over fine but won't start. Oil level is good.

If the tractor stalled just as you were turning it off perhaps you just ran out of fuel? Stranger things have happened.

Had the engine cooled before you added coolant and tried to restart?

You checked oil level so would have noticed if it was now milky - correct?

Only 1/2 hr , was pretty hot still.but tried again to start it in the morning without success. Noted that the coolant level in the radiator hadn't dropped.
