Tractor 8 years old. It wanted to sputter on or after slope. The fuel line is clogged. I removed the fuel line as it enters the first filter. A trickle was coming through. I blew some air through. Viola. Problem fixed. It may happen again, but I know what to do. Working fine.

You have to remove a bracket that protects the line. Four 14 mm bolts. Remove 3 and loosen one. A little messy but easy. Hope it helps.

Lots of us have been there before - removal of tank is the best fix, must would rather not tackle that.

Using antigel in the winter and algaecide will help the root cause of those problems - however, there can always be SOMETHING that got its way into the tank or something broke off the sending unit and has now clogged the port.

The slope issue is also known to be a pump problem - your pump buzzing when you turn key one click?

I went thru this a few years ago. Don't want to pull the tank. Will look for the algaecide. Thanks.

Algaecide only deals with algae...
It ain't going eliminate 'floaters', bugs, or slivers of plastic that will stop an engine....
