A while back I posted about a RTV x900 that had been submerged under water for a time. I've come a long way with this machine. The machine is running after replacing the fluids, starter, alternator, injection pump, and injectors .
After operating the machine the oil level in crankcase has gone up significantly. Over twice the upper level mark. The only fluid that has dropped is the hydraulic fluid level in tank. The oil has turned gray and is sticky slick. If it had been water I would expect more milky slippery oil. There is no drop in radiator level. Is there any way for hydraulic fluid to reach crankcase? The only other fluid is fuel but our fuel is dyed and the color is not apparent in oil. Any insight is appreciated.
