I work the steel wall to be around .09" Probably 12 GA. When you toss in the handle, it works out closely. If you are moving slowly on grass or gravel, it should do fine. If you are clipping along and hit an abrupt rock, it will probably dent. There is no telling how long the drum shaft will last with the handle.
I figured the steel at 0.3 lbs/cu in. It is actually 0.283.
You do not see these very often. The price is fair, for manufactured steel. I'd probably go for it, and take it easy.
I'm using just a regular man driven lawn roller behind my tractor that is not nearly so robust, and do not have problems.

You should be alright honestly on flat ground. I'm not saying to hot rodding around on flat land but a decent pace and you should be fine. Use caution on hills and slopes. I used to take my B6100 and jerk around a 19 foot boat on a trailer with no problems on flat ground.
