I've had the V22500 Trailer Wiring Harness Kit on order for over a year now, but it still has not shown up from Kubota.

I have managed to find a 7 pin and 4 pin combination socket assembly similar to the one shown in the picture, and the 8 pin flat connector that matches up to the wiring harness on the MX5400.

Here is the quandary, the tractor plug has only five wires connected to it and two of those are duplicates (tail lights) and those wires are all shown in the wiring diagram, for the MX5400, but I understand that the V22500 and the U15000, U15001 and U15002 all have all 7 wires connected to the 8 pin connector.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for any of these wiring harness kits?

My plan is to add the 12+ circuit and possibly install a brake controller and even a back up switch to the tractor, but would like to know how the wires all connect, but I would like to use the same pin configuration as the factory kit would use so need to know which wires connect to 5,6 and 8 on the 8 pin plug. Yes I could improvise, but would prefer to have it hooked up the same as factory.

Here is what I have worked out so far.

There is an industry standard for both 4-pin and 7-pin trailer connectors. Why reinvent the wheel and just use the industry standard? I doubt that Kubota does anything different than the industry standard.

He just wants to know where the 3 remaining pins NOT installed in his 9 pin connector are used in the 2nd version of the 'kit'.

Yes, the Kubota uses an 8 pin connector (not 9) on the wiring harness and yes I want to know where they connect the other three leads from the industry standard 7 pin trailer socket to that harness.

I know that on the MX5400 these wires go nowhere as there are no wires in the wiring harness for them, but they are connected on the kit side so want to keep the connections the same.

Thanks

Update:

Seems the dealer got the MX6880 V22500 April 2021, but it did not get received properly so they just found it the other day and I picked it up on Saturday.

It is a 7 pin trailer coupler all right, but it is the semi trailer or agricultural style and not the RV style.

So to answer my original question, pin 8 is blank, Pin 6 is Blue Aux 12V/ABS Power and Pin 5 is Red Brake lights.

Pins 2 and 4 tie together the running lights and the clearance marker lights which are separate circuits on semis, but combined on the RV coupler as just running lights.
