Welcome aboard. I know you had a rocky on-boarding, but we've all had our moments.

As you may know, the area where the pin is is just an open area between the engine and transmission. That opening and pin provide a tell-tale for any leakage from the engine rear seal or transmission.

First make sure what's dripping is coming from inside the housing. Sometimes, fluid leaks from somewhere else and gets blown back or runs down and appears to be coming fr inside. This is important because the fix can be involved.

Also make sure whether the fluid is hydraulic fluid or engine oil.

Thanks for the welcome and input on my issue. Its definitely hydraulic fluid. Its not consistent leaking and mainly shows up after heavy rotary mowing or loader work. it can take months for the fluid level to get low enough to have to add any. its concerning but I've been watching it for years with no consequence. Just add some hydraulic fluid ever few months. I think ill wait till another problem shows up in that area, like clutch replacement. Nice thing about the HST is that I only use the clutch when cranking and changing between L M & H. and that's not often.
