I have a 1993 (I think) B7100HST 4x4. I recently bought a Bush Hog 1846QT FEL for this tractor. In the installation manual it says that I have to buy a fitting from Kubota p/n 70010-00306. It's basically a fitting that screws into the fill hole for the transmission that allows a return line to be added. Simple enough, only the part is no longer available from Kubota. I called Bush Hog and was basically told that since it was a Kubota part that it wasn't their problem. ???? Has anyone else run into this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey. Just joined. I have been lurking for awhile and thought from time to time I might be able to help out. I found these web-sites that shows your p/n you are looking for.

Hope that helps.

It will be interesting to see if either of these places have the part. It is a good number at Kubota in both Canada and USA but is listed as nla with 0 stock. any machine shop could make you one.

I have already checked both of the above dealers, as well as many others. They all show the part # as well as a price, but when they actually enter the order it comes up NLA. I'm still searching and have contacted Bush Hog. Unfortunately, Bush Hog doesn't seem interested in helping even though it's their loader. Totally ruins my confidence in Bush Hog as a company.

I am checking locally here for one as well as some other online source. But in the mean time, I thought this might help. I had removed the exact part you are looking for from a B6100 years ago. The previous owners had attempted to put a JD front blade on it. They got the project so far and gave up and sold the tractor. I removed all the none OEM stuff from it, fixed it up, and sold it. I also sold the blade. I don't think I kept any of it. As time permits, I will look around the shop, but am sure all of the fittings went with the plow. Anyway, it isn't that complicated of a part and as was previously mentioned, a machine shop should be able to fix you up. Here is a really high tech. drawing of what it is. It is just a round shaped assembly that screws into the bung where the fill cap is on your reservoir. In the top of the assembly there is a allen plug so that you can still fill your reservoir without removing the whole assembly. Then "T" eed off to the side is a nipple to hook the return hose to. That's all there is to it. You could probably just fashion one out of off the shelf plumbing fittings. The only kicker is that the threads are probably metric. Hope this helps. I'll let you know if I find out anymore info.

I added a second high tech pic for your consideration. If you need to get a machine shop involved, possibly the only thing they would have to make would be the adaptor nipple from sae to metric. Maybe someone more versed in hydraulics can chime in here, but since it is just a return line, I don't thing extreme pressure is an issue.

OK, so my memory isn't quite as good as it use to be. The third picture is the parts manual diagram of what you are looking for, or what you will have to replicate. I was close, but if you need to take a picture to a machine shop, this should work for you.

well I hate to say it, but the parts came in today and the fitting is too large. Not sure what I'm going to do now. I think I may run it by a machine shop tomorrow and see if they can turn it down just a little. It is ever so slightly too large. We'll see.
