My boyfriend came across a kubota tractor he has already replaced the starter alternator and the regulator. It started yesterday ran good but now it won't start. It turns over like it wants to start. What could be wrong

Does he use the glow plugs?
Did it smoke when turns over?
Did it start after he placed all new parts on?

I had an L175 once and that bugger wouldn't start without glow plugs even in the summer!

See if any fuel is coming out of the tank or the fuel filter.

Tank can rust inside and block flow out of the tank and clog the filter.

My L245 is the same way, along with the decompression knob. It reminds me of starting an airplane. Pull the decompress, hit the glow plugs and count, hit the starter and when it engages push in the decompression and give her fuel.

It does make it harder to steal.

Are the glow plugs working? Is it getting fuel to the injector pump? Is there fuel at the injectors?
