Happy Birthday America....
I was fortunate to have seen the Star Spanngled Banner at the Smithsonian in Washington. No photos were allowed but a huge tatted flag drapped down over a 45* wall in a dark auditorium. Really breathtaking standing beside it looking at it.

After lunch today we had our traditional trail ride and scavenger hunt.
The family is loaded up and ready to go. I have over 7 miles of trails circling and crisscrossing the property.
There is an envelope for everyone containing $5 plus two frogs that are well hidden which contain $20. The scavenger hunt takes a couple of hours after which the watermelons are cut.

That's awesome!!! I love how the envelope is held down by a poison ivy stalk...

Actually it was a dead limb, but I'll admit that you made me look. That is Poison Ivy on the left side of the tree and we passed up many trees to prevent the Poison Ivy contact.
