BORA wheel spacers

2" Bro-tek spacers installed. Ordered thursday, arrived wednesday with monday being a US holiday.

Fitment was great. Only issue I had was one original lock washer spread when I was torqueing the wheels down. I had another one that I replaced it with. We'll see how well they work. Here's a few pics.

Skeets, with the bro-tek spacers (on my machine) you don't have to remove the two studs. There are 4 lugs and 2 studs that mount to the OEM axle flange. If you look closely at the "zoomed in pic" above with the spacer mounted, you can see the OEM studs in the 6 and 12 O'clock position. The 4 other lugs (supplied by Bro-Tek) are the ones that would use a 3/4" socket.

Brotek sends 4 new lug bolts (per side) to mount the spacer to the flange and you use the two existing OEM studs.

They also send you new lug nuts and lock washers to mount the wheel to the spacer. You only re-use the two flat nuts, all flat washers and the new lock washers.

I think the same arrangement is used for the B'01 series as well. No need to pull out any studs.

The online instructions were a big help. After a quick glance at them the whole process took about 20 minutes. Great quality, easy install, makes the tractor look more tractory I'd highly recommend the Bro-Tek spacers.

I have looked at wheel spacers for my L3901 and I see that there are aluminum and steel versions. What are the Pros and Cons of each?

I'm no professional wheel spacers guy, so take this with a grain of salt.

I ordered the steel ones from Bora (Stahl) mostly for the strength. The weight helps too, but it's just a couple lbs.

Aluminum one's are painted or anodized in orange.

I'll paint my steelies in Kubota gray or orange when they show up.

I'll have a better opinion once I actually receive them.

From what I understand Motortech-Sport makes Bora which is aluminum. And Stahl which is steel.

I don't think that they are stainless steel, but kinda looks like it. Maybe a clear coat and bolt them up.

I love a well machined part.

I prepped and painted the Bora steel spacers I installed on my previous B2601. They looked great and the quality was fantastic!

Well worth the investment.

I'm already happy, just from the customer service alone. I already have my receipt, order confirmation, and a tracker sent from ups. The only thing I dread is messing with those filled tires

Just mounted my 3 inch spacers and dreaded filled tires spacers are bora, great item. When remounting tires make sure studs on hub at 6 and 12 o clock top on first nut bottom falls right in place L 3901 tractor

Skeets, I got my BORA spacers from UTV parts and accessories. With my L3560 cab, it is tippy on the steep hills I have. I got the 3" spacers and they were $320. with free shipping. They help a lot, but I'm STILL extremely careful on the hills and try not to get too carried away going sideways on the hills. I also added a tiltmeter to View attachment 55861 View attachment 55861 View attachment 55862 it to help keep me informed on my angles.

What's your max angle?

I forgot to add the picture of my tiltmeter. I got it from the sales section on TBN. As far as the installation goes, I jacked up the side I was working on, loosened the bolts (almost couldn't get them off) and used a pallet jack to glide out the tires and slide them back on when the spacers were on.

I went with 2" from Bro-Tek on my BX2680 cause it was as wide as you could go with a MMM. They made a huge difference. They were about $200 with shipping right from Bro-Tek. The company is great and they were almost too nice looking to hide. Going to put 3" on my b2650 soon.

Did you put them on your B2650 yet? (looking to add a pair now before work season sets in!) I'm on VERY hilly land, and lots of side-slope action you can't get away from! My ole' B7100 sat so much lower!

Well......that post from "angrymatt" was nearly THREE years ago, ......so he has likely either installed his wheel spacers, or has forgotten where he put them!

Figured I'd get the 3 years later update..... yes their awesome, you should totally do that, or he's under his rig hillside somewhere in greener pastures... ;-)
