BX1880 questions

On my 4th Kubota in 39 years B8200 and L2250 for over 30 years, then a B2601 for 4 years, never an unexpected hiccup . Moved to much smaller acreage and now have a BX 1880. Fourth time used the mower deck started rattling bad when wife was on it, found all belt pulley retaining bolts loose or fallen out, also trans axle is leaking oil at a case seam. Is this to be expected on these smaller units or is this unusual and my luck just ran out? Thanks all

My take is that it is unusual and you should get it repaired under warranty, if it is new enough. No issues like that on my BX2200, which is 18 years old now.

I have the older model Bx1850 ......... smooth as silk, no noise other than a little whine.

I had a few leaks on my BX1880 that the dealer fixed under warranty. One was the hydraulic connection for the third function on the HST that was loose. Another, was on two plugs on top of the HST that they had to remove and add some teflon tape. These two leaks would cause the HST fan to spray oil everywhere. The last one was on the quick connect for the FEL and apparently they replaced several parts. No problems since.
