Welcome aboard, and congratulations on choosing a great tractor! (of course, I'm a little biased)

Is that a big roller I see in the background of pic #1?
If so, I'm jealous.... large ones are rarer than unobtainium out here.

Might want to unbolt your muffler and give it a quarter turn and run it paralle to the hood. I flipped mine up like that, rain water got down in it, rusted it out and it fell off.

Mine was horizontal when I got it and the PO liked to leave the FEL sitting at just the right height for the exhaust to cook the left hand FEL hydraulic lines.
One of the first things I did was to flip it up, and put a tall extension pipe on it with a bend at the top that doesn't allow rain to get in. (stored inside anyway)

Mine was orgionally horizontal when I bought it and I flipped my up cause I thought it looked cooler and better that way. Then it rusted out on me and now I have no exhaust on mine.

its honstly not that bad, my only concern is am I doing any damage to the motor by not having an exhaust on.

Not sure about this, but years ago, on a 4WD club run, I ripped the exhaust off my Landcruiser and an old boy on the run insisted that I cover the end of the remaining head pipe with a rag when I shut the engine off. He claimed it would prevent cold air from being drawn into the engine & warping the hot valves......
can't say if it had any effect one way or another......

Stumpy - The plow was a big selling point because it is a directional plow and so easy to use

Lil Foot - The roller was a bonus as part of the deal when I picked the tractor up the PO said he didn't have a need and I could just have it if I wanted, and yes I wanted!

Eric - I've been debating about the muffler and still haven't decided. My baby bota (nickname the wife came up with) will be stored in a heated garage at all times so I'm not concerned about water damage, more with aesthetics and as noted the repercussions once I obtain an FEL
