There's a serial number break. If you go to the kubotausa.com site you'll see. Wow, one is 3 times the price of the other! That would be the one I'd need.
I have a L3901 with LA525 and there is nothing exotic about any of those hoses. I have no idea why there would be a serial number break. Which hose are we talking about - part number please. I make hoses and can easily match any of those - cheap.
I'm just looking at the pictures (never learned to read, you know
) and there's only one picture covering 3 serial numbers. Since OPs picture didn't show up, we're sort of shooting in the dark. But if it's the hose right after the valve, it looks like a fairly short hose, but it has a hard line 90 on one end. At Messick's 2 out of 3 are less than $30, but the third one is almost $80!
Still not sure which one we are talking about but those are 3/8 R16 hoses with JIC-08 female swivel ends. Hose is $3.50 per foot, straight swivel end is $4.00 and the 90 degree tube end with female swivel is about $12.00. Buy the OEM at $30 - thats very reasonable. I looked at KPAD parts. All three of the loader to tractor outlet block hoses show 3 different part numbers with serial number breaks. They all attach to the same end fittings. Bizarre. I know for a fact those hoses on my 1 year old loader are just 3/8" hose with JIC-08 female swivel ends. About as generic as it gets.
When putting in an order with various places for hoses, is there a ‘standard’ way used for measuring the lengths?
Yes - lay the hose out flat and straight. Measure the length end to end as shown below. For those loader hoses an inch or two is not going to matter.
