I only know what I paid for mine last year. It wasn't cheap at $4,600 but I got front and rear chains and dual tail wheels. It's probably up around $5k now or maybe more.
I was quoted $6,000 today. Seems high but I can't find a listed MSRP. I was also quoted $3,400 for a 1872.I only know what I paid for mine last year. It wasn't cheap at $4,600 but I got front and rear chains and dual tail wheels. It's probably up around $5k now or maybe more.
Front and rear chains and dual tail wheels adds around $1k. Given the price increases it wouldn't surprise me if the RCR1884 with those options is around $6k.I was quoted $6,000 today. Seems high but I can't find a listed MSRP. I was also quoted $3,400 for a 1872.
What is the differences between the RCF and RCR models? I know one has the supports below and the other above but outside of that I don't see much difference.I only know what I paid for mine last year. The quote did include Frt and rear chains, and dual wheels. Sales guy said it was with the slip clutch, not sure if that's an option or not.Front and rear chains and dual tail wheels adds around $1k. Given the price increases it wouldn't surprise me if the RCR1884 with those options is around $6k.
How are the 1884 and 1872 configured? I don't remember if slip clutches were an option too but that feature typically adds cost as well.
I think you nailed it. I looked at them recently when I noticed that @B737 has an RCF model and the only thing that stood out was the F meaning flat due to the lack of supports on top of the deck. What is the differences between the RCF and RCR models? And with slip clutches right? Oooops ... I see that they have that feature. The quote did include Frt and rear chains, and dual wheels. Sales guy said it was with the slip clutch, not sure if that's an option or not.
