Anyone else get the rear remotes on their MX series tractor?

I think the remotes were some of the best options you can add to your tractor.

I use mine all the time when my backhoe is off the tractor.

I didn't have them on my previous L3410, but had 2 sets and a front 3rd function installed on my current tractor.
I agree that they are a great option that is often overlooked.

I use one rear remote most frequently for a hydraulic toplink, which has saved me a ton of time over the past several years.

I got two remotes when I bought mine. I use them for my disc mower and when I use the coops fertilizer spreader.

They are nice to have!

I got that exact same set up on my MX5800. I always got them hooked up for top and tilt. They come in handy with my hydraulic blade too!

I have identical looking triple remotes on my L6060.

Rarely use them yet but have plans to do so in the future.

I have a box scraper with the hydraulic rippers on it if I have my TNT hooked up that uses up all my remotes.

Our MX5000 doesn't have remotes. Wish it did....... Dunno why you'd not have remotes on a 50 hp utility tractor.

I ordered three rear remotes for the last three tractors I've bought in addition to at least one valve with the float option which I find to be a very useful thing to have. I would like a fourth rear remote at times.

I have a rear mount snow blower and rear mount flail mower and both implements need two of the rear remotes. Since I have top-n-tilt on both tractors (the M will have it added next week) I'm often having to think about which to give up, either the hydraulic top link of the hydraulic lift rod. When I'm running the snow blower I use the standard top link but when running the flail mower I use the standard lift rod.

I'm finding the Outback Wrap to be useful. When you find yourself connecting and disconnecting rear hoses on a regular basis for multiple implements in including top-n-tilt it's much easier and more efficient to have the hoses marked clearly.

Does anyone sell a kit to add the rear remotes? I'd love to add TnT function on my MX6000.
I've always had the dealer install the rear remotes and levers in the cab. There are DIY options but I like the factory stuff. @Matt Ellerbee added remotes himself so I would reach out to him or search for some of his posts.

Question regarding rear remotes. I'm new to tractors so bare with me. I recently ordered a MX5400 and wanted to get rear remotes (3rd Position Value Kit as it's listed on the "build my tractor"). Long story but that part didn't get into the order from the factory but my dealer said they would add.

My questions is do people get 1, 2 or 3 rear remotes?? Or is there just one option.

There's the 3rd function kit up front that's used to run an implement such as a grapple or auger. Then there are the rear remotes of which you can add one, two or three. You can only get one valve with the float option though with the other two being the centering type. Float gives you the option to use the valve as a standard centering valve or use it in "float" so that for example a flail mower head follows the terrain just like a loader bucket will do in float.

Thank you for the answer . Also thank you for the float explanation. I had heard of that but didn't realize what it was. I should have guessed it by the name "float".

Get 3 remotes, no one ever said gee I wish I only had 2. Most say I wish I had more remotes. Heck I wish I had just 1 on my B series.

Funny enough that's the one thing I need to make sure happens. When I thought I had it in the "original order" I had chosen 3. I have since straightened it out with the sales person who said they would install if for me at the dealership but I'm not sure if that was for 1, 2, or 3.

Regarding your test remotes how close is your 3pt pin when you run it to the tips relative to your remotes…mine is about 2mm. Maybe less. How spacing you all have.

I bought my 6000 used. It already had the first installed. I bought parts from dealer and did the other two. I want to say parts were about $1300 or so. Easily installed in an afternoon.

I continue to fume about the crappy outlets Kubota provides on the L01s. They used those nice stackable push/pull blocks on everything from B through MX and there is no good reason for not using them on the the L01's. The L01 factory outlets look and perform like a cheapie eBay aftermarket addon.

100% agree. They look like an afterthought.
