Recently my BX2200 started telling me that the fuel filter better be changed soon.

I guess it was telling the truth. Just never got around to doing it. Changed the one before the fuel pump today, along with mower deck maintenance, including new blades and its first belt change.

Still have to change the fuel filter near the engine. I won’t wait another 19 years to change the filters again. I will at least double my frequency. :ROFLMAO:

Anyway, I cut the filter open. Looks like it was time…it will be interesting to see what the second filter looks like inside.

I think you've got me beat. Someone (not to be further identified) once gave me sticky notes that said 'I put the PRO in Procrastination'.

Do you remember the thread in Jan 2021 where you were questioning the need to service fuel filters? BTW, I think you got 'full life' out of this one :) . No need to be embarrassed.

Henro, next time you start some off the wall question on the forum, remind yourself to go take care of maintenance on your tractor first!!!! ;)
