I bought a QH10 from the local dealer in March of '21 and the same dealer quoted me $696 for a QH10 last week, and it's back ordered!

I got really lucky last week with the M6060 and the dealer in WY. They had a QH15 (2021 model) for $450 listed on their website so I called them and had them install it on the tractor and add it to the overall cost. That difference will cover the cost of fuel and more when I bring the tractor home soon.

I was looking at a Land Pride 5' rotary tiller yesterday. It was priced at $3600.

"This inflation is transitory. "
transitory - "not permanent, temporary", meaning the real inflation isn't here yet.

The feds solution to inflation is to give out more money. Somebody slept through Econ 101.

I don't feel so bad paying $650 for my Lee Agra Farm Hand QH cuz it ROCKS!
I get it. I've never complained too much about paying for quality items that will last a lifetime if looked after. That said, the price increases over the last 18 months have been exceptional. Kubota had three major price increases during that time with the last one being April 1st.

Ah yes......
.......but the value of my exceptionally low hour Kubota L48 TLB has been rising like a rocket!
I like it!

Not only NO!

.....But....HELL NO !!!!
I'm 81......if you can wait until croak however, it is likely that my children will sell.
Then why does it matter? All my stuff is going up too, but I don’t care, as none of it is for sale.

It matters to ME, because even though it will not be a wildly significant amount in my estate, my family will benefit a bit from the current $10K rise in value.
As in stocks and bonds, personal property that gains in value for me, is value that will be passed on to others!
Current US life expectancy is 76 years.
I am 81!
You are obviously not even close to thinking about the consequences of that 81 number!

The significant increase in prices over the last year or so was one of the motivating factors in my buying the M6060. I knew I'd want/need a bigger tractor but was thinking three or four years from now, but a similar tractor could be 50% more expensive by then. The fact that the tractor had just shown up and no one had snagged it was simply lucky timing. The fact that it was a great deal at almost $7k below MSRP was icing on the cake.
