My second hydraulic oil filter failed on my bx2350. Like to tow unit about 200 years to my shop to work on it. 2 questions.

what would cause my filters to fail?

how do I put in neutral for a short slow tug of about 200 yards.

Doesn't the range selector lever have H-N-L, with N being neutral?

I'll assume it's similar to mine, so place hi-new-low lever to Neutral and tow slow ?
I did that 3 years ago, zero problems and went 400 yds+

yes it does. Just wondering if there was more to it than that after reading other posts. Towing it very slow in neutral I should be good. Thanks.

Are these Kubota filters that are failing? Are they failing at start up (cold oil) or after running awhile? What oil are you using? What are you doing when it fails?

What do you mean by fail? The can ruptures? Gasket blows out? Does this have two filters?

Changed filter, fluid and cleaned screen a few months back. got the correct filter and UDT fluid from Kubota. Worked good for 4 X 1 hour snow blowing. The filter seemed to split around the seam on the base. Filter casing would spin but base was snug. Gasket looked ok after getting it off. Will get new kubota filter and top up with UDT. Hoping it was a dud filter.

Are tightening the filter to much when installing? Have you added shims to the hyd. spring increasing the hyd. pressure? Could be just faulty filter.
