B2650 Adding Rear Dual Hydraulic

Hello,
I have a Kubota B2650 and I would like to add rear dual hydraulics to my tractor. I have seen in a previous post here on Orange Tractor Talks, Dual rear remotes on my B2650, https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/dual-rear-remotes-on-my-b2650.33155/page-4, that there is a part from Surplus Center that can be used to provide the function I need, but I need help with instructions on where the inlet and outlet valve ports from the Valve, in the picture, will connect onto my tractor. This is a picture of the part that is shown in the previous post I referenced

If anyone can send me a picture or describe where, on my tractor, I need to run the inlet and outlet port hydraulic lines to I would greatly appreciate it.

First thuing you nee to understand is your Prince MB valve for the remotes will have three hose connections to the tractor. One hose will be the pressure supply and the second will be the high pressure return for the 3pt. That connection is commonly called power beyond. You will have a third low pressure connection direct to the tank.

Now to where to connect those hoses. Here is the parts diagram for a B2650 without cab. Your new valve will replace pipe #90. Simply remove the two banjo bolts holding the pipe to the tractor and use the bolts and two banjo adapters (shown below) to connect a pressure supply and power beyond return hose to those ports. The supply hose goes to banjo #100 and the power beyond return hose goes to banjo #130. Just as simple as that..

Finally that pesky tank return hose. It does not look like Kubota made any provision for that so I am shooting in the dark. One possibility is the hydraulic filler cap. Remove it and install a fitting for the return hose. There may be a better location and if so hopefully someone more familiar with that model will chime in.

Whoops - found the tank return connection on a different parts diagram. which is teh second one below. The tank return is hose number 200. That is a low pressure hose secured with hose clamps and you can simply cut it in the middle and install a hose barb tee for the additional return hose.

1. My tractor has a cab; Will that make any difference other than the fact that I will have to insert the hoses from the valve through the back wall of my tractor cab below the back glass?

2. I purchased my tractor used and didn't receive a owners manual or service manual. Where can I purchase a service manual like the one you used in the diagram? I have seen a few online, but most of them seem to simply be owner/operator manuals and not repair/service manuals.

I ordered two Banjo Adapters the same size, but on the tractor the #100 and #130 ends on the #90 pipe look to be two sizes in width. The #100 side of the #90 pipe is wider than the #130 side of the #90 pipe.

Will the Banjo Adapters I purchased work for both sides? I ordered this size because another member of Orange Tractor Talks listed these Banjo Adapters as the ones he used when adding rear hydraulics to his B2650 tractor.

I dont know the answer to that but it seems unlikely they are different sizes. Measure the diameter of the shanks on the bolts just below the hex head to be sure. I also would have expected BSPP bolts not metric. Again the measurements will provide the answer.

That does not mean they are different sizes but the bolts (items 100 and 130) are different part numbers. Some measurements of those bolts is clearly needed. The banjos you purchased will require crush washers not o-rings.

Thank you again Dan. I'll get those measurements. I will also take the Banjo Bolts with me when I go to the local hydraulics store to have my lines made up. They may have the Banjo Adapters I need, or be be able to order them for me.

Because there was not enough room in my tractor for the one shown above, I decided to go with the Electric Rear Remote shown below:

I am trying to find out if the connection process is the same of if there is a difference. The valve shown in Image #1 (2 spool manual valve) had 3 outlets; supply, power beyond, and tank.
Does the Electric Remote have 3 outlets or just 2? I only see a P and T marked on the picture of the Electric Valve on the left and right.
Will this work on my Kubota 2650?

The tank line on those valves is the power beyond. You just connect them in place of the pipe.

, Tractor Rear Remote Kit by Summit Hydraulics, I watched where the guy connecting a kit like this one. He starts explaining the connections process at 4:18.
He had the line coming from the "Loader Control Valve" of the tractor screwed into the "P" port on the Summit Valve, which he says is the "Power Beyond". Next, he said the port marked with a "T" on the Summit Valve will go to the top of the transmission on the tractor. Is this different with a Kubota tractor or is it the same process?

Forget worrying about power beyond. You connect the Summit valve in place of pipe #90. The loader valve port goes to P on the Summit valve and T on the Summit valve goes to transmission. Thats all there is to it.

Sorry I was typing and didn't see your reply. I think I understand.

I will not have to worry about placing a "Tee" to go from the Summit Valve to the Tractor Tank. I will only have to be concerned with replacing the pipe on the tractor with the two Banjo Adapters and connecting the Banjo Adapters to the Summit Valve. Is that correct?

Forget worrying about power beyond. You connect the Summit valve in place of pipe #90. The loader valve port goes to P on the Summit valve and T on the Summit valve goes to transmission. Thats all there is to it.

If your suggesting to the OP that he remove the #90- pipe and install that valve in it's place, you're not taking in account that the three point control is on the other end of that line.
It's not a tank outlet.

Hooking a valve up like Dan wants you to do will work limitedly it can also cause adverse actions to the three point control.

I am taking the 3pt into full account. The plumbing would be exactly like any electromechanical 3rd function that Kubota installs on thousands of tractors. The only interaction issue is the remote cylinders will be in series with the 3 point if both are activated simultaneously. That is also the case with a Kubota 3rd function.

I suggest you go back and review my posts earlier in this thread. My recommendation was a valve with a separate power beyond circuit that isolates the remote cylinders from a down stream device (e.g. 3pt). That is how the OEM remotes are plumbed and I posted a parts diagram showing the 3pt and tank return ports. But for reasons of his own Infinite111 has chosen otherwise. His valves will work fine but they are not optimal. My main objection to using solenoid valves for remote outlets is they are binary switches. They are either full on or full off and you have no means of metering flow to the cylinders.

That is correct. Also see my response to Wolfman about why I am not a fan of those valves in this application.
