I will be keeping my MX6000 in a shipping container for a while. I have OFA Eko 9 chains that I am worried will destroy the plywood floor of the container. Looking for some ideas of something to put on the floor to protect it. I was thinking of using stall mats but was curious if anyone else has had experience with this.

I was using stall mats but found that the melting snow created puddles of water under the mats. As long as you don't spin your wheels, the chain damage should be minimal

Second the stall mats (Thick reinforced rubber) Or a couple sheets of sacrificial plywood is good too.

Used conveyor belts. Look at FB or Craigslist for some.

Tractor Suply sell rubber mats that are 8"x4'. maybe you can buy one and cut it in two narrower pieces ?
I use two old planks under when I back up in the garage.

I have a new garage built this past summer and I use the Tractor Supply Stall Matts. I line them up in two rows full length of plow, tractor, rear blade.

Probably too late to help you...I had the same issue with the plywood floor of my shed. I went the cheap way - bought two 1x12 10 foot hemlock boards from the local sawmill and screwed them down to the floor. Worked fine. Easy to store once I took them back up this spring.

Go with stall mats and drill a few holes in them to allow trapped water to better evaporate.

I'd highly suggest SwissTrax flooring for the stall that your tractor parks in.

You can even colour match with a very close orange if wanted.
Have you actually use this flooring with Chains on a tractor?

I can't see a hollow plastic flooring holding up for more than a few seconds of chains rolling on it.

Personally I have not however I did order my flooring a couple days ago. My friend has this system (JD 3046) but he has his spill containment on top that he parks on. Most garages you're only crawling in and out of, hasn't wrecked it yet.

I'll let you know how it goes.
