Examples of Kubota Backhoe Skills

I have a somewhat different BH competency level issue.

1st.....I had a 4 lever Ford 3400 TLB for 33 years, that I was reasonably good with.
Now I have a Kubota 2 stick L48TLB that I am terrible with.

Two other considerations also:
#1, I am 81 years old.
#2, I spend 6 months each year away from my BH.

Had a 4 lever Ford TLB 4300 for 20 years.
Taught me to keep that engine almost at an idle unless the 'work' was heavy.
Pulled plenty of BIG pine stumps.
Wish I had a Ripper for it . . . gone now.
But I got good at watching the bucket and not my hands.
Best advice from the previous owner: Keep the stabilizers down ALWAYS. ;-)
And nothing beats practice.
Watching someone else is Ok but it should get you familiar with what you can do.
Then practice.
Now I have a BX23S and I enjoy it every minute.

It won’t let me post the video, but even a 5 yr old can do it. He may have more time in that seat then me

His legs are too short for using a thumb!
