figures, I can't find the spreadsheet/build of the sheds so from memory....
each wall consists of 4 - 2x4 - 12' long and 7- 2x4 ,90" long. ( 96- 4x 1.5)), 3 sheets plywood
studs are 2' on center, nailed to 2by4 sill and top plate, then extra sill and top plates nailed to them
.cheaper and easier than using 4by4 for top and sill plates.
roof trusses are 2by4 - 10', one laid flat(bottom chord) , other cut in 1/2 for the top pieces.,king post is a +-15" long 2by4. 2 plywood gussets secure them, pitch is 2.5/12 or 3/12. I 'think 15* saw cuts.
roof strapping is 1by4 - 12', 4 pieces per side
roof tin consists of 5 , 10' sections cut in half. you screw a left and right piece down, then tape the top edge, repeat 4 more times
build the 7 trusses (cover 2 with plywood ( 1 sheet) for the ends
build the 2 walls
have 2 people hold the walls up and screw a truss onto them (easy as btm chord is FLAT.
repeat 6 more times
what you get is a 9 by 12 shed with 8' walls, with open front and back, next to zero waste. I cut/assembled trusses in the morning, build walls after lunch, erected after dinner with zero help
mine are only 7' 'low profile',but NO added cost for going 8' tall
