He's moving across the country and selling off a bunch of good stuff. I committed to buying a 22 ton Oregon wood splitter with a Honda engine and will pick it up this weekend.

His M7060 is loaded with just about every feature I could want and I hope that I don't do anything crazy this weekend when I'm at his place. He's asking $60k, and to buy what he has new would be north of $70k. It's a 2018 model and I'm not sure of the hours on it. I'll keep telling myself that I really want an M4 or M5 in a few years.

If very low hours, maybe offer him $55K.
I doubt that you would lose anything, even if you opted to sell within the next two, or three years.
No tax, and no Tier IV either!

I think somebody misses having 2 😢😂
You're not wrong!! :ROFLMAO: I still have two tractors but one isn't mine. I do like the idea of a bigger tractor with a manual transmission. I was at a dealer earlier today and they have two M6060 tractors with cabs and they're awesome!

I'll look at the M7060 this weekend when I pick up the log splitter. I like your reasoning but hopefully I can resist doing something impulsive.

To be fair, my "reasoning" (due to relative age) may be a bit different than yours.
At 81, I pretty much decide if I can afford it, I'll go for it!
One never knows if there will be a "next" year!

The owner provided photos last week, with a list of the upgrades. He didn't mention tire chains but supposedly they're around $3k. It's the 12-speed model.

Creeper kit
Self leveling loader
KSR shock absorption for loader
Hydraulic top link
3 rear remotes
Rear wiper
Rear window defogger
Work lights front and back
Extra wide tires
Engine block heater
Blue tooth stereo

I agree. Then he could deliver me that cab 6000 to Georgia! I’ll buy the beers.
You guys are no help! I don't see myself parting with the MX6000 cab ....it's too capable and comfortable.

Seriously though, a brand new and nicely equipped M6060 with cab is almost $10k less and can be purchased with 0% financing. The M7060 would be a lot more appealing at $55k.

On second thoughts, the actual cost difference might be a fair bit closer.

The 7060 with the 12sp should also have higher hyd flow. Wide tires are standard up here it seems, they are great. I have a different loader but have the soft ride in it and it’s nice on rough ground with any weight up front. If it includes the blade and blower, id think thats a great deal, even not knowing the hours. Unless it’s into the thousands (and it don’t look like it is), 400, or 900, or 1500 are almost irrelevant on this machine unless it’s been beat! Someone mentioned no tier IV? It has a DPF with no juice…. Mines been fine in a few years and 500 hours…..

I’d love to have a blade just like that :)
