Isn't it amazing how the war in Ukraine solved all the covid problems in the US? I quit seeing the ads by the St. Of Kansas directing folks to get the vaccination, nothing anywhere about it!!! Too bad it took a war to get it stopped.

My wife and I are also about at the 6 month mark.
Today I found something interesting while looking at my American Red Cross donor app, I last donated 3-10-22 and was tested for COVID-19 Antibodies. Test result was “Reactive+”
What does that mean?

Reactive+ test result = Antibody levels were detected at levels high enough that your plasma may be used as convalescent plasma.
My 1st booster (3rd shot from Pfizer) was on 10-08-22, so, in my case according to Red Cross Antibody test, after 5 months from getting the booster shot I still met the Reactive+ criteria.
I do not believe I have been infected at any time with COVID -19,
if I have I wasn’t aware of it at the time.
I plan To donate blood again on or around 5-5-22 (next eligible date) and wait to see if I still test Reactive+.
If I do not, I’ll get the second booster.
Maybe donating blood would be a useful indicator for when to get a booster shot.

I keep wondering how to see through all the smoke and mirrors out there and to come to some kind of a conclusion about events over the last couple years.
People die for various reasons annually. There have been claims that normal deaths have been called corona virus deaths for whatever reason. Might be true, but still, if the total number of annual deaths increased, then that increase likely was caused by something out of the ordinary.
Following are a couple graphs. Dates on the X axis indicate the end of the associated year. Note that up to the end of 2019, population increase and deaths in the US increased at the same approximate rate year after year. At the beginning of 2020 things changed dramatically. Why? Is it just coincidence that the corona virus appeared at that time?
Food for thought. I lost the link where I found theses graphs, but it came up near the top of the results with a google search.
Asise from all the theories about how bad these vaccinations are, if one did decide to get vaccinated, then I wonder what the additional negatives might be from getting boosters. I’m guessing not much.
My GUESS is that worse case boosters do nothing for you, and best case they do increase protection. At least for those like the wife and I that had essentially no affects worse than a flu shot. Although I did get some kind of facial skin irritation after the initial doses, which the dermatologist felt was coincidence and not related to the vaccination. (I’m not sure about that, I’ll see if anything pops up after this second booster.)
From the expert himself, Dr Fauci, and I quote, “The most potent vaccination is getting infected yourself” – Dr. Fauci (pre C19) . He was referring to the flu, but Ill take that to mean any illness. Of course this isnt the measles folks where you absolutely have a lifetime immunity unlike this due to changing variants, but its not like they ever get the annual flu shot right either.

Actually,......Fauci changes his story to fit the needs of the day!
Perhaps just a meaningless update, but after the forth dose, without a bit of effort I cannot even find the tenderness in the left arm, where the injection was made yesterday morning. I can find some kind of feeling if I press hard at different points. Other than that, nothing.

Well, all I can think is listen to what the guy says. He might have changed his story, or he might simply be stating why what he said is being misrepresented.
I don't really care, but I think if someone makes an accusation, he should at least back it up with proof.
Simple statements without backup are just that. Meaningless...
I do have an open mind. Let's see what the proof is...I do not have any interest one way or the other really.
I will say, I and my wife had all 3 shots and never got covid. Thought we had but tests all said we did not. I had a job where I was around a lot of people every day and some went out sick for covid. (retired in Dec 2021) and my wife had stage 4 cancer in 2018, survived and doing well but there is a 5 year window of observation. So we got the vaccines without overthinking it. I do believe it is up to the individuals circumstances.
I have not the 4th yet though. I also heard there will be another in April released. A doctor on a talk radio show aid he is waiting to see what that is about.
A very good friend believes in the herd immunity theory, but the variants keep changing so I don't know.
Its a crap shoot with not knowing of underlying conditions these shots can set off. That is also very real.
I hope we get to the point this is a yearly vaccine like the flu, but who knows.

Here is a...... "simple statement"
I had a cold in very early December (4th), that required a Z-pak, and Prednisone.
It was seemingly obvious that I had fully recovered by Decenber 25th.
Got the 3rd shot on December 26th at the VA.
On December 28th I was hospitalized, extremely weak, and unable to walk.
Three more hospitalizations, over the next 35 days.
Even at 81, I ain't gettin no mo boosters,...... never again!
You guys can have 'em all!

Your experience I would feel the same way. On the other side of that though, 1 of my supervisors last October got Covid from his son. They are very religious family and refused the vaccines based on their beliefs. Brian wound up in the hospital for 4 weeks as did his wife on ventilators. His son who was 21 was over it in 3 days and their daughter never caught it at all.
No matter how you slice it their is no real answer on what we should or shouldn't do. This damm disease and at times the vaccines can drag out things you didn't know you had. I saw the post about Vitamin D. I had the HR person tell me her son was told that in college. So he bought supplements. Caught Covid anyway.
I forgot this twist on this situation, the health insurance tried to not pay their portion for the hospital stays. They stated he could have prevented the severity if he was vaccinated. It took pull to our rep about having our corporation not renew with them for 2022 to get them to knock it off.
I actually am so confused by the question that I cannot process all the opinions.
Still thinking we are glad we got the forth shot thou...
Sorry...just my experiences with this. I plan on getting the 4th shot, but am interested in this rumor of a different one being rolled out later this month.
Wish this was a subject like do you like Landpride more than Ea implements.

I've had to sick our Benefits manager on the insurance company before. After getting put in touch with the sales rep that handles our account, it was taken care of within an hour.
I guess that's one of the benefits of working for a company with 10,000 plus employees. They do have some weight to throw around
Starting this year the insurance company has hired a nurse to advocate for us if we have issues getting prescriptions filled, doctors appointments, specialist appointments, ect.....
After that one experience and having to sick the sales rep on them, I haven't had an issue with my insurance, coverage, prescriptions since then.
