Greetings,
I am looking to add a tractor to the l3800 and looking at a 60ish hp tractor with a cab . Use will be: being more comfortable in the winter, snow work, road maintenance, pasture mgmt, skidding logs, general earth work, eventually raising beef. Considering the new or used MX6000, M5740 (used) or 6060, or L 5740 (used) or L6060.

Am I understanding the main differences as listed below.
MX 6000 ($$)- similar functionality of the M 60 series but less weight, smaller footprint, more maneuverable and available with HST or synchronized trans w hydraulic shuttle, approx 2000# loader lift capacity
L60(series) ($$$) HST + trans, possible mid mount PTO. Essentially the same lift capacity front and back as the MX 6000. more creature comfort options and more cost.
M60 series ($$), taller, heavier, slightly less maneuverable, synchronized Transmission with hydraulic shuttle shift, more three-point lift capacity, 2500# Loader lift capacity

Thanks.

Is your property flat, hilly or mountainous?
How many acres are you going to work with?
How any head of cattle are you thinking about?

"Considering the new or used MX6000, M5740 (used) or M6060, or L5740 (used) or L6060."

Kubota didn't make a M5740.

The MX6000 or the L6060 with R14 tires would be my choice.

Hills / Mountain slopes and a cabbed M is not the best choice, too top heavy, and bulky.
HST and hills / Mountain slopes is much easier and safer to work with than a geared tractor.

M5750 is a typo. Should have been just the L series.
I appreciate the input.

This is what the loader lift capacity for a MX actually is rated for by Kubota:

“With a maximum lift capacity 24 inches behind the lift point of 2,310 pounds, the MX series allows for a wide range of implements.”

I think the tire choices for the L6060 are limited to the Ag, turf or R4, at least according to the brochure and the salesman I spoke to a few days ago.
Your right, I thought they were finally offering them in R14's, it's a shame as they are available.

That’s a tough choice. I was in same place last year. I think the L6060 has more 3 pt lift than the MX. are you lifting round bales? That’s a thought I guess? I wanted the MX for simplicity (I do wish it had tilt steering though). The main reason I did not step up to an M was for my spousal unit to operate it…it’s for me too but my consideration was safety for her and anyone or any building or car parked😂 near her. We have two properties will hills so it’s just easier all around. I think also depending on what you drive and what equipment trailer / implements you have if you go bigger than an MX or an L and it’s more bigger stuff….haul capacity can start to be an issue…it was for me. I’d love to have the M it’s a different class of tractor in my mind, and I really want one, but the transmission made the bulk of decision for me. I just had to come to terms with my priorities for my use. Seems like you already identified the main differences in you OP. Make a DA if not sure.

A little seat time in each machine goes a long way over comparing paper specs and asking opinions on internet user groups.
I agree. You've got it narrowed down to a pretty small list, so it's possible to test any that you can find available.
I'm a visual/experience person. I can learn more in five minutes in person, than I can by reading or digesting opinions.
