I also found this- pretty interesting! Check out the ROPS & Log Splitter!
As a side note, I actually have the FEL, Backhoe, & Box Scraper shown here.:)

I have the exact same sales brochure, given to me by a buddy after I bought my 1980 B7100 a couple of years ago. I also have found an original Bark Buster wood splitter & re-condioned another splitter for a friend, that looks very similar to the one shown in the brochure.

Small world, mine's a 1980 also.
I would love to find one of these splitters on the cheap to restore. I know some are afraid of them, but I think, with proper respect, they could be used safely.
They don't seem to exist out my way..... everybody looks at me like I'm a Martian when I describe it to them.

Here is my Bark Buster - bought it from the original purchaser for $100 & did nothing but paint it. The other one is the one I fixed up for a friend (point had been broken & welded but threads needed grinding to work) - he got his for $50. It is still sitting on a big Pine stump where I delivered it back to him last Oct.

Cutting firewood back in Feb., my route to home took me past an older home with a small barn out back. In the weeds beside the barn I spied another one of those splitters - looks like my Bark Buster. Obviously hasn't been used in a long while. Don't dare go back & inquire.

Probably more common in "Redneck Territory" where the "Safety Police" are less common! I missed getting (3) previously over the last couple of years, that were advertised on KIJIJI, all for 3 point hitch & all asking $200. Lots of videos on YouTube, Google Bark Buster or Hy Crack (United Kingdom).

I'd like to get one for firewood, and maybe try it in the ear of the the POS who is breaking into cabins & garages around my place up north.

I'll get a photo of mine. It is more like the bark buster, but is ford blue. I has safety stickers on it and is obviously factory made. I had to design a screw for it but I have 0$'s in it. I bought the machine shop's owner a dinner for it...
