I have an M5700 mid 90's? Model and the chipper on the back is a woodmax. It's been working great for 3 days then today the pto stopped under a load and I can't get it to run loaded again? Disconnect the pto shaft and it engages and spins fine but hook it all up and start working again and it shuts off? Clutch? Filters, not allowing enough flow? Oil is good level good? Any ideas?

I don't think so it's in place and not broken? Spins up just fine but under a load it backs down until PTO stops? Cleared chipper twice and flipped blades to fresh cutting edges? M5700 I thought was a direct engage PTO?

Get the WSM and go through how to check / adjust PTO clutch valve or take it to a dealer and have them check it out.
