Supplier is saying they looked at this pic and think both ends are correct, 1/4npt (one is supposed to be swivel which it is). Is that so? Thanks in advance

Left is NPT, right is Swivel. The NPT threads seal the fitting, the flared end seals against a gasket inside the swivel fitting so that the swivel can swivel.

Thank you, that is helpful. The next one I opened had the center hole not centered. Is that ok to use?

The one on the left looks like a rigid male NPT end. The one on the right does not loolk like NPT. It looks like some type of male flare - possibly SAE 45. If its NPT its a strange one. This is what a male pipe swivel should look like.

Thank you. That was my thinking as well. I looked up on this site https://www.hydraulicsdirect.com/Fitting-Thread-Chart-s/1934.htm and thought maybe what I had looked like "JIC 37° Flare (SAE J514)" in 3/8. Or possibly "Japanese Industrial Standard JIS 300 Flare" in 1/4

Thank you. That does look like it. Will that work going into a std 1/4 npt female on my bucket cylinder?
I would assume so since its NPT threads but the purpose of that end geometry escapes me. The catalog page explicitly says "30" taper seat so there must be some use for it.
