Kubota L305 oil in water

I have an older Kubota L305 around a 85 model. I changed the head gasket but I am still getting water in oil. I have no pressure at radiator cap and checked water pump it is working. The more water you pour in the fuller the oil becomes. Any suggestions

Did it ever overheat?

When you say no pressure at cap..... any bubbles while running with cap off?

Any smoke at all when running?

No bubbles at all. At start up has lots of white smoke for a minute or so then none unless I rev the motor then it's black

When the head was off to replace gasket... was the head and block inspected for cracks?

You could try a 'leakdown' test.... replace radiator-cap with special cap to allow pumping pressure into system... if it bleeds-down, there is a problem somewhere.

Also, when cranking the engine (do not allow it to start), it is often audable if one of the cylinders does not have compression. There will be kinda 'skip' each time the weak hole tries to make compression.

You may end up pulling the head again... and IMMEDEATLY inspect for water in one of the holes.

Yes I had a friend use a ultrasound on it it was all good

When you say " The more water you pour in the fuller the oil becomes" Does it fill the crankcase with water without the engine running? If yes then I would suspect a core plug (freeze plug) rusted through. You may find one behind the timing gears on front of engine or under valve cover.

Yes that was my suspicion after head gasket. I checked ones on top of head but they were good from what I have been reading there is freeze plugs behind crank Case I now suspect it is one of them

Leak down test kit is pretty cheap. Sounds like your next step.

There's another sealing plug inside the front engine cover - part 5 on this parts page - (L345 and L305 have same plug)

or
Water in the oil
You state both????
There is a huge difference!
