That is very "simple math".
A liter is actually 3.785 US gallons.
The difference using a rounded up multiple of 4 would be quite an error for a large tank.

Sorry my fault I bought a diesel tractor. I am going to run synthetic oil So Canadian Tire has mobil 5 -40 on sale for 39.99 but none at my store or any within a couple of hour drive. So I looked everywhere and ended up paying 60.00 for Rotella T6 because everyone else was 75 to 100 dollars for the 5 liter bottle. It may be time to stock up on Diesel and oil. (what I mean is past time)
