I’m only posting this because it kind of amazed me.
When I was a young teenager may be 13 or 14, or maybe even 12 years old, on the way to school, which we walked to by the way, for some reason I kicked a bottle that was laying on the ground. I think it was broken and when I kicked it a sharp point of it pushed into my leather shoe, and injured the big toe on my right foot.
As a couple years passed that toe became infected with some kind of fungus I guess. To make a long story short over the years that fungus infection moved to the other toes on that foot , and somehow found the toes on the other foot, but not to such a great degree.
I mean to the point that a few years ago some of the toenails on the smaller toes got really thick and started pointing up at about a 45° angle. And because they were sticking up they put pressure on my toes when I had my shoes on and started to cause a painful issue with the Toes.
So anyway, you know how we check things on the Internet and so on and so forth. I saw something about using bleach to counteract toenail fungus. I tried it for a couple months and saw no real results so I gave up.
But, it takes time for the toenails to grow out! So as I kept cutting off the old stuff I realized that the toenails that were sticking up at a 45° angle we’re not doing that anymore. Eventually those toenails and everything else started you return to normal.
The thing that YouTube videos failed to mention was that it takes time for toenails to grow out and whatever is messed up to begin with will be there for whatever long time it takes for the toenail to push that part of the toenail forward for you to cut it off.
Things have improved tremendously for me, maybe an 80% improvement or more. I’m thinking I may do a repeat of the bleach application just to see if I can improve things that remaining 20%. But I’m at the point now where it really doesn’t matter it’s just so much better than it was.
I’m just mentioning this in case anybody happens to have something similar going on. I am a believer that bleach works to control and kill toenail fungus as long as you have patience for the result to take place.
Actually I’m also a believer that medical care tends to follow the dollar and applying bleach to toenails, to kill the fungus and make things better, provides no monetary incentive for the healthcare people to advise one of this option. And no incentive to spend money doing a study either that will result in no profit when proven to be true.
