The blue paint is Rustoleum Night Tide, a pretty close match for the blue trim on the excavator, maybe a little darker.
Leftmost rocker controls boom light, the other the OH lights in the front of the canopy.
Large pushbutton is for the glow plugs.
Black plate to the right is a modified circuit breaker blank off plate, just fills the 3rd switch hole.
Glow plug indicator is below the battery symbol, and coolant over temp indicator is below the oil light.
Green light flashes whenever the ignition is on, and the hour meter is counting.

Your work is magnificent!
You will eventually find a solution for the track situation.
(My offer still stands: Sell it to me for cheap, and I'll deal with the track issue)

I would have finished probably 10 days ago, but I was fighting a problem that seemed insurmountable.

The 4 idiot lights (glow, oil, battery, and coolant over temp) actually have the symbols embossed on the plastic plate, and used to be black, probably silk-screened on black paint.
But the black paint was completely worn off.
I tried to get a pic, but my camera just would not pick it up.
The raised area was .003 to .005 tall, rounded on top, and very smooth.

I tried every type & style felt marker, paint marker, art marker; chisel point, fine point, ultra fine point, etc.,
(did you know you can buy markers down to a .005 dia tip?- average human hair is .003 to .008)

It was almost impossible top draw accurately enough to stay on the raised area, and on the rare occasion that I did, the ink bled & spread, requiring a quick alcohol wipe cleanup. Crap.:(

Then I hit upon the idea of a rubber stamp & ink. Same problem, plus you could not hold the stamp parallel enough to the raised area without hitting somewhere else outside the raised area. Crap.:(

Finally it dawned on me that I could use my Brother Label Maker with clear tape & black ink and just ignore the almost invisible original symbols. Worked pretty well. :)

had to register to the forum, i have almost the exact same machine in pieces at my garage :D
i have not ever encountered anyone who is in the same boat :D only old long-gone random bits and pieces of information about this machine... but its nice to see someone else working on the same machine, nice job so far 👍

i think mine is a little bit newer model as it has rubber tracks and different switches, but mechanically looks to be identical. ive seen same machines with mitsubishi me15 branding.

i have the same green color underneath multiple layers of paint, seems to be that its the original factory color for the machine. i also have the same dual pump setup with hammer hydraulics, but the hoses to the boom seems to be missing, or never has been there.

just started tearing it down (standard quarter-century overhaul 10 years too late....) , having some hydraulic issues, dont know if the pump is shot or what is going on, some movements are slow and tracks on slow-mode run different speeds, but on high they run the same... i dont know what kind of nuclear war has this machine survived of, but its a mess... i took out the hydraulic tank and found a nice big pile of what-used-to-be-a-hydraulic-pump-dust from there.

btw thanks for posting the hydraulic schematics! :)

where did you get the manual? i havent found anything for it yet..

Welcome to the forum sir!
Thanks for the thumbs up.
It will be nice to compare notes with someone else.
Hydraulically mine is pretty solid, a few tiny seep type leaks, but none out of line for a machine this old, except for the boom cylinder, it leaks pretty bad. haven't had time to deal with it yet.

Maybe I can get some info on your rubber tracks so I can figure out which ones I need.
Do your drive & idler sprockets look like and have the same dimensions as this:
(this is an idler sprocket that lost the center bearing)

I assume the center-to-center distance will be the same:

The "owners" manual I bought online is in Norwegian, and I was never able to find an English version.
If one exists, I cannot find it. You can click on this, download it, then open it.
I have used google translate to translate key words & phrases; tedious, but better than nothing.

The other manual is a parts manual I got from my BIL, who I bought the Hanix from. It is in english, and has been very helpful, lots of diagrams, but unfortunately, no wiring schematic.
It is too large to download here, but send me a PM with your e-mail address and I will mail it to you.

Lil Foot,
Any big files I want to share I put on google drive, there are other sites that do the same thing.
You could try and email me the file ( my company email will normally accept large files) and if I can get it I'll put it on drive and give him a link to get it.

The test e-mail worked!
I also got a manual from another site for the Mitsubishi K3B engine.
I can send it through e-mail also.
It is 7.7mb.

OK thanks Sean, if the e-mails don't work, I will take you up on that!
