Hello, there's a B2660 snowblower with a B2653 mounting kit for sale that I'm interested in. I have a B2150 tractor but can't find any information on what if any snowblower attachments will work. Help.....PLEASE.

Thank you,

Bob

I have attached a page not to answer your question but to show you the document you are looking for.
It is called the WHOLE GOODS catalogue and is in the hands of the dealership sales people not the parts people.

Dave,

Thank you very much for suggesting the whole goods catalog. Does anyone have one?

Number Two, thank you as well. Is there any documentation that you can point me to (perhaps a manual) that says what tractors will work with these implements?

Also, a B748B blower just came available today. It was on a B7100 tractor. Does anyone know if this will work with a B2150?

Surely someone at Orange Tractor Talks must know how to determine what attachments will work with what tractors.

Thanks,

Bob

I am pretty sure that the B748B snow blower is set up to use the front of engine power take off, which requires a clutch assembly. I think these blowers where used on the "old style" B7100 with no mid pto.

The Kubota parts website has such a feature.
Go to kubotausa.com/parts.
Click on "Illustrated parts list"
Click on "View Illustrated parts"
Go to bottom of "Terms and conditions " page check box the click "open"
Type B2150 in the box that says "model"
You will now see the different sub model of that tractor. On the right side of the page you will see an options column, click on the arrow of the line that corresponds with the model you have.
You will see a list of the attachments that were originally sold for that model tractor.
The B2660 snow blower is listed. B2653 subframe is not. I am guessing that it is similar to the B2652 subframe that is listed. The B2652 uses a hydraulic cylinder to raise the blower. I know they also sold a subframe that used a mechanical linkage from the 3 point hitch to raise the blower. I bet that is the B2653
I had a B2660 snow blower and a B2652 subframe on a B7500 and also a B2410.

Kubota Sam,

Thank you...that is exactly what I was looking for....a way to avoid making a $1200 mistake! Although the blower appears to be the correct one, the mounting kit would seem to be wrong. I'd rather avoid yet another project and will probably wait until the correct unit AND mount make themselves available.

I sincerely thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

The whole goods catalogs are not available outside of a dealership.

Thats interesting I wish I would have known that before I bought my Kubota. a little right to repair bull going on there eh?
Not at all????
Has nothing to do with repairing the unit, has to do with buying it.
Whole goods are package deals on particular parts or equipment
Only a dealer can get those parts.
You can only by new Kubota OEM parts from a dealer no matter what the part is.
Yes you can buy a lot of aftermarket parts via non dealer.

What exactly are you trying to get?

lets say I want a mower or a snow plow or a blower why do I have to call a dealer to find out which unit will fit my tractor? if one is advertised from on the used market it should be easy to find out what will fit my tractor. The dealers really should not need to be a part of it.

You don't
Go here https://apps.kubotausa.com/illustrated-parts/ and put in your model number of your tractor and on the right hand side is the options that your tractor will run or could be equipped with.

The newest tractors, your B2301 for example, have not had the info entered yet because they keep adding possible equipment as it's a current model, just go to the sales site and look at the options there.

You're in Canada so the link that you need to use might be different.
