Hello All,
Does anyone know if Kubota actually makes a 3rd function kit for the LA1065A loader? The reason I ask is I specifically asked the dealer to include the OEM 3FK on the loader, but when my new MX6000 was delivered today it had the Land Pride kit installed. Before I call the dealer, I'd like to be sure I know what I'm talking about. Maybe Kubota doesn't make the kit for the LA1065??? With a $1,300 up-charge for the kit, it sure seems like he priced a Kubota...

Check the KPAD parts for loader and tractor to see of anything is listed under OPTIONS. If there is a Kubota kit it should be there.

Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, I'm striking out, when I go to Kubota-PAD I'm asked to log in but there's no option to create an account.

It does not require a login. Just use the Parts link on the KubotaUSA.com main page and follow the prompts. I already looked and I found nothing.

Sorry, this is my first Kubota so I'm definitely in the learning mode. I've searched everywhere I can think of but I'm only finding the Land Pride and W.R. Long options. I guess I'll call the dealer and ask, but I always prefer to know the answer before I ask the question whenever possible lol. Thanks very much for trying to help me out!

I was under the impression Kubota owns Landpride ?
They do, but the 3rd function kit for my B2601 is totally different. I couldn't find the Kubota kit and I think it may have been discontinued. The Land Pride kit is a low quality kit much the same as Summit's offering and it may be made by them. I installed the Summit kit and it was a PITA and had to buy parts to make it work. Anyway, I would be very disappointed if a Land Pride/Summit kit was installed if there was a Kubota kit available for your tractor.

The Landpride kits are made by Landpride
WR Long kits are made by WR Long.
Summit kits are made by Summit.

They are not "cheap" - just simple commodity components retrofit to a lot of different makes and models. They all use a D03 industrial valve with aluminum subplate, a universal fit joystick handle, and some custom made hoses and bracketry. They are clearly afterthoughts.

The Kubota kits are generally only available on their higher end models. They use the same D03 type valve but the joystick controls are integral parts of a high end Kubota joystick that is platform rather than loader mounted. Mounting hardware and subplate, loader plumbing, and placement of the valve is also better integrated with the tractor for a cleaner more "factory" look.

That actually makes perfect sense when you think about it. Thanks everyone for all the help!

When I asked for third function kit, dealer said there was no kubota kit available for l3301. Sales guy recommended WR long kit, but I wanted 'OEM kit.' They installed the land pride kit stating it was essentially the same.

I got a few leaks in mine so, not too happy with the land pride kit. However it seems to work fine and the buttons on the loader stick are are better than the others (IMO). I don't think you'd have any problems with the land pride kit.

I have a Kubota kit on my L4240. Got it a couple of years ago. Had to wait about 6-7 months for it, because they manufactured them in groups according to models.

Had the dealer install it because it required more than I wanted to do on this tractor.

I wanted the Kubota third function assembly because the lines going to the front are steel and bent to fit perfectly and fit in the clamps already on the loader arms. Looks and works excellent!
