So am I to believe the only way I can mount a snow/dirt front blade on my 2006 B7800 is to also buy a FEL??

That is the way most snow plows are setup, but definitely not the only way. Just limited to your imagination and fabrication ability.

Besides snow, what are you trying to “plow”?

Small riding lawnmowers and atv’s haveplow blades on the front with no FEL.

Yes I know...I have a Wheel Horse C-101 with a 42" front blade. I want something a bit larger to cut down on time it takes.

I have never used a front mounted snow blade to spread soil. Not sure how well you could push a pile of dirt.

I have always used a front end loader and then a box/rearblade.

If a FEL is an option for you it sounds like that would probably be your best route.
