OTT is a fun place

I know sometimes we get too serious, but all in all, I find OTT is a fun place to spend time.

Can't think of anything else to say.

Yay OTT!

Except I guess that, also, OTT is the BEST place for help and advice for KUBOTA owners. Second thumbs up! No place better in this regard.

And...... unlike TBN........ not nearly as quick to ban individual opinions!
OTT seems to have much more realistic moderators.

I do like the relatively light moderation. Seems like there’s a reasonable level of civility, but not to the point of not being allowed a spirited debate.

The other thing, odd as it may seem, is the relative anonymity.

If someone ever looked at one of my posts and responded with, “Hey, I’ve seen that place in the pic before. Aren’t you ____ from _____?” that would be my last visit here.

I’m not at all an important person, not ashamed of what I do or who I do it for, but I am 24/7/365 in all circumstances a reflection on and representative of my employer, like it or not. Until I retire, I can’t fully compartmentalize personal and professional. Anything I put online, or say publicly in any format where I’m identified, I have to make sure is in line with their positions and procedures because they rightly require that. Been that way for 32 years.

Here, I’m just an another guy with a L4701, and sometimes that’s kind of nice.

You can only talk about things they agree with or the thread gets deleted or closed.

Also, people on this site seem to be better focused on the purpose for the site. There are people on TBN that force tougher moderation.

After 10,000+ posts, I am a bit too old at 81, to subject myself to TBM moderator wokeism!
TBN wokeism may be OK with you, just not for me.
Different strokes, for different folks!

I was at TBN a LOOOONG time before finding OTT. With a fairly long gap not participating in any tractor forums for unknown reasons.

Never had a problem at TBN really. Or here either. Like both.
